And the ti...I love that I have just discovered you! And the timing is perfect. I so very much relate. About the penguins and drums... I just discovered this week that it's the high pitch noises that drive me insane. "Bang away all you want on those drums boy, but I can't say what I'll do to you if you keep up that whistling!" We all have such different triggers.

And I just read this quote yesterday which totally reminds me of your strength quote above: "Experiencing this pain in my muscles and aching and going on and on is my challenge. The last three or four reps is what makes the muscles grow. This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens. I have no fear of fainting. I do squats until I fall over and pass out. So what? It's not going to kill me. I wake up five minutes later and I'm OK. A lot of other athletes are afraid of this. So they don't pass out. They don't go on." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

I'm devouring your blog. My little guys are 16 months and 2 and 1/2. I love being with them but some days are just plain HARD! So much so that I sometimes wonder if I should back to work for all of our sanity. But you remind me that its just one day, and that they are only little once. I dust myself off and get up and start fresh the next day. Thank you for being real! Oh - and we have that Penguin Race toy too. It's currently tucked away in our basement. :) That thing will drive you crazy!
