Numerous times throughout the day I would just burst out laughing...
Getting ready this morning... Driving to pick up Greyson from school... Sitting in speech with Parker...
A deep, loud happy belly laugh...
I can't believe I got on the stage at Greyson's preschool program Monday night...That's pretty funny... It took me a couple of days, but now I find it incredibly hilarious... And I was singing Slippery Fish- and doing the gestures that go along with it- probably with the most violently angry look on my face the entire time...
OCTOPUS!!!! OCTOPUS!!!! SQUIGGLING IN THE FRICKING WATER.
Oh Friend- I was so sad before that I didn't even get to the hilarious part of Michael getting on the stage too!!! I don't know how it happened but the next thing I know I am holding Parker - and Greyson is lying on the floor- gesturing wildly to some balloons- screaming... And Michael is standing over him- apparently saying something to him. Why is trying to reason with him? I wonder... And it took every ounce of energy in my soul to not yell out, PICK HIM UP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!!
This morning when I was getting ready I asked Michael, Why did you get on the stage too? He said- Greyson ran to the back of the stage and he was mad because he wanted a balloon and I was telling him he couldn't have one.
Why were you standing over him, watching- for like 6 minutes? Why didn't you just pick him up? Why were you trying to talk to him? I asked.
Chrissy- It was about 3 seconds... I think your mind exaggerated it a little bit...
Hmmm...I guess that's possible...
And then Michael and I were both laughing...We may not get points for our stage presence- but I think we get a few extra for caring so darn much that sometimes we do the probably wrong things...
Today Parker got to go to Speech Therapy...He wasn't happy about being woken up from a nap...
Do you want this box?
This phone?
This pig?
This worm?
Mickey?
Something inside this box?
Finally...These fish... Ding ding ding...
Parker reminds me- Keep trying, keep looking, keep asking- don't give up... You will find what makes you happy.
We found something Greyson likes almost as much as the Ocean... Our birthday present to him...
He is so into it...I could have watched him all day... we gotta find a way to get him some type of ABA/Drum lessons... I think it could be really cool...
My boy has a Garage Band... We are looking for vocals and guitar...
You can watch his first music video here...
And guess what he did as soon as he woke up from a nap this afternoon...
He reminds me to live out loud... to cry out loud and to laugh out loud... Even when it's at myself...
Love,
Chrissy
