I can still remember the way I felt when he said it...
Wow'ed...
He was 14 months old at the time...
And he would use it so appropriately...
Wow...when he saw something so darn cool that he had to let us know how he felt about it...
Wow...A word used to express wonder or amazement...
That's my kind of word.
It's my job to bring the Wow.
He totally felt the Wow.
Dear reader friends, if that's your yellow car- will you take us on a ride?

Today a friend sent me a text asking if I thought of adding a catch phrase or something to the stickers to intrigue the passer by... She said something to pull in the every day Mom in a way they can relate...
I've thought of it, but can never come up with something I felt was enticing and could sum up this blog and our life in just a few little darling words.
And suddenly I thought of something that would at least pull in the every day Mom...so I texted her back...
Free house cleaning... That will pull in the every day Mom- right?
So then she said, Make money by working from home and doing nothing.. Brilliant!
So then I said, Get big boobs and a tiny waist from eating twinkies...
I would TOTALLY look up a website that promised that...
What do you guys think? Hmmmm... You've got a point...I'll should keep thinking...

Today we had a community outing during our late afternoon Autism therapy session. The purpose of an outing is to work on safe and appropriate behavior for Greyson in a public setting (of my choice.)
As far as kids go, Grey is a little on the tough side...But as far as Spectrum kids go, Grey is easy...His Autistic like behaviors are mild. His tantrums are pretty easy to quiet, he listens some of the times, and he will hold my hand in the parking lot...Sometimes he still makes a run for it, but it's usually inside places and not into traffic...
I notice that when my attitude and patience are high- Greyson does so much better. If I am tired and I react emotionally back to him, we don't do so hot. We work on things like making sure he stands right by me in the parking lot when I am getting Parker out of his car seat and we make sure he holds my hand when walking in the parking lot. The school psych said it would be a good idea to have Greyson help me get the items on my list...
A list? Wow...that's a good idea...I never do one of those...probably why I forget half the stuff I go for in the 1st place...and buy at least 10 things I don't need.
So I wrote one...
I'm not a boozer...I just need the schnapps for some white sangria...turns out Target only has beer and wine...I bet you already knew that.
We were met in the Target parking lot by the school psychiatrist and his Teacher. I got Greyson out of his car seat and asked him to stand by me while I got Parker out of his seat....Greyson did exactly as I asked...and the entire shopping trip Greyson just chilled in the cart.
I guarantee it was the most uneventful community outing that has ever taken place in Autism history. Barely a peep out of Grey...he just sat in the cart...ate some chips and marshmallows and that was it...so really- I just walked through Target with 2 ladies following close behind while I did some shopping. I had an entourage.
Afterwards we played at Starbucks...
And while we were there, we changed the World a little...
Can I send you some stickers to put up where you live? It would make me so happy! Send me your address to kellyc43@gmail.com.
We finished off the night with some Quinoa spaghetti...
Bib? why bother?...next stop was bath.
Parker was so saucy he needed a quick rinse before bath...
Have a great weekend... Hope it's filled with lots of wow.
The boys are gorgeous. It's so awesome to see pictures of Greyson's big smile. Have a great weekend!
