Merry Christmas

So this year marked your second Christmas. You're still a little young to get it, but that didn't stop you from loving the brand new toys that laid underneath the weird fake tree that just showed up in your living room one day.
We were all a little bit sick but we didn't let that get in the way of our Christmas Celebration.
There is nothing cuter than your puffy eyed morning goodness...

Favorite new toy? I'd say it's a tie between your ride on Firetruck and your basketball hoop.

We tried for a family shot. This was as close as we got to a good one. (no, your dad isn't drunk here.)

New Years was uneventful, which I'll take over crazy any day. At 7:30pm you were fast asleep, and I was soon to follow. As a little girl New Year's Eve meant sleep overs, sparkeling grape juice and pots and pans clanging up and down the street when the clock hit midnight. As I got older it meant advanced planning. NYE needed to be celebrated in a BIG way. The perfect outfit was deliberated on and layed out on the bed as I maticuolously got ready for an evening filled with dancing, blow horns, crowns, real champagne and kissing at midnight. This New Year's Eve was a little different. It included a bath I shared with you in the big jacuzzi tub (with our Yo Gabba Gabba Plex squirt toy) Jammies by 6:oopm, and take out from CPK. Glamourous? Not quite, but for now it's just right. Now we are back into the swing of everyday life, which is our favorite.
One of my New Year's Resolutions? Making fun and purposeful meals for my favorite 1 1/2 year old in the world.
