Imagination

This is not a real post...
Use your imagination and pretend like it's real. And since we are pretending- let's pretend like it's brilliant and funny and earth shattering...

Instead of this...

I have decided that all weekends should include 3 days- and should include a Monday off. Monday as we know it didn't even exist this week. Awesome.

We did some eating...

We did some shopping...

Shopping with Grey and Parker should be an Olympic sport. Torture. Anytime I go into the dressing room suddenly both kids need me --and only me...At some point the entire family ends up in a dressing room...Diapers are gettting changed-Parker is trying to crawl out from under the dressing room door and I am debating on if I should run and grab him or put on pants...If you see Doodle crawling at the mall unattended- please grab him. I will catch up to you when I put on some pants...
I usually end up buying some gosh awful- not quite my size or style clothes so I can get the hell out of there fast- because it was on the sale rack.

We went to a birthday party over the weekend. I'm getting used to birthday parties...Used to making Grey interact with the other kids...used him hating it...used to him asking to go to the car time and time again...I usually leave sweating, frustrated and sad. Usually I can fold up that sad and put it in a little compartment because I know it's good for him, despite his trepidation.

This weekend we went to a Birthday party and for the first time ever, Greyson had a great time the entire time. I am still glowing. Can you feel it? He was stretched far outside of his comfort zone and he rocked it.

I left the party high up on the clouds of happy... It made my whole day glow. My boy had fun. Real, actual swear to goodness fun. I'm still mildly in shock...and happy. Sometimes I look for a new leap pad to jump to- to tide me over- to give me strength and at the Birthday party,  found it.

We also did some playing...

Lately I haven't been enjoying my US weekly magazine at all...Michael said Maybe you are evolving and growing up? And for a second I thought- he's right...Except I'm leaving you now to go watch the ending of the Bachelor Pad...so I'm pretty sure Michael's theory is a bust.

Have a great day.
