Quick little hello and then off to bed...


Hello....

Decisions can be made in a fast second. It's the middle in between time where you have to make friends with patience and struggle... Where an intention waits patiently to grow into reality... Sometimes it's hard to stick with it-  the middle unglamorous part. That's where we grow though...that's where we build strength...

Today I gave myself a Mental Award every time I completed something... I highly recommend it.  It made me feel way more important and accomplished... 







To be honest- I had help with this one...Thanks Parker!!!  why yes, my baby does have a knife here...how was I supposed to keep him occupied while I took the picture? ... 

Do you ever leave like 2 or 3 dishes in the dish washer to be washed on the next go round because you are just so booooored with putting stuff away and can't imagine putting even one more thing in a cabinet so you just quit? Me neither...

I found the awards to be quite motivating... I may have to start a brag book...

We are entering another period of change now... I get scared about Change...It always happens just when I start to feel like I have things figured out... Like I just was able to press Cruise Control and turn up a good song and drive... I'm getting better at it though... Welcoming Change...

We are switching ABA providers for Grey  (Behavior therapy for Kids on the Spectrum...I wrote a post about it here...), starting ABA therapy for Parker and changing Speech Teachers. I must frequently analyze and reanalyze... What's working? What isn't? Where can we improve? Realizing the cruise control moments in Life can still exist but more in terms of days and weeks- not in terms of the rest of forever...
